Big Spring Rail Systems, Inc. (BSR) is a U.S.-based rail logistics company that owns and operates approximately 3.3 miles of rail line in Howard County, Texas, under trackage owned by the City of Big Spring, TX. Established in August 2012 through an initiative by the Big Spring Economic Development Corporation, BSR was created to enhance regional economic growth by improving the transportation and distribution capabilities for industrial clients in the area.
Headquartered in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, BSR provides efficient access to the Union Pacific Railroad, enabling the seamless interchange of freight through its proximity to the Big Spring Yard and the Toyah Subdivision. This strategic location allows BSR to serve as a vital connection point for energy, manufacturing, and logistics operations across Texas and the southern United States.
As a strategic partner of USVN, Big Spring Rail Systems supports our shared mission to optimize supply chain efficiency and strengthen U.S.–Vietnam industrial collaboration. Through this partnership, USVN connects Vietnamese enterprises and energy projects with American logistics infrastructure - advancing trade, technology exchange, and sustainable growth across both regions.
